Happy Birthday Man
Tim Holtz is a very popular designer, particularly for his masculine approach to his designs. This card uses some of his techniques while using CTMH products, inspired by A Kept Life.

Many Thanks Splatter Card
Inspired by Pamela at Reflections of My Art and Soul, this card was very fun to make, and messy! This is a great way to use up scraps and some of the Zip Strips from our B&T papers. Multiple layers create dimension and visual interest to the card, while the splattering of Black and Sky reinker looks playful (used a toothbrush for this). Washi tape and glitter buttons finished off the card.

Chalkboard Technique
The chalkboard technique is really popular right now. Here are two examples using the For Always WOTG. The Happy Birthday card idea comes from Betsy at her Supergirl blog. Using multiple images, stamp with Versamark and heat emboss with White EP. Sponge White Daisy ink over areas on the panel. Use colored pencils to highlight certain words.
The below example uses Direct-To-Paper to colorize the strips of paper and butterfly. Alternately between the strips, I drew pen lines using the same color marker. The sentiment is stamped in versamark and heat embossed with white EP. The Two strips of shimmer trim in black and purple sparkles add a final touch of glitter to a happy card.

Glitter Glitter Everywhere
A good way to create classy greeting cards is to add a little glitter. CTMH has many ways to add glitter to any of your scrapbook layouts, greeting cards, and home decor projects. The above card shows two colors of shimmer trim, black and silver, and two colors of glitter paper, black/grey. Use our alcohol markers to color the silver trim any color from our color pallet. Purple sparkles on both examples show a colorful way to make your projects shine. On the card below (inspired by Kelly Brandt), Glitz Glitter Gel in silver is a super easy way to add glitter. Also, check out CTMH's prisma glitter and Slate Mini-Medly accents. We also have two different glitter alphabets, Glamour and Pixie.

Rainbow Thank You
One of the amazing properties of the For Always kit is the neutral colors, black and white. A crafter can take advantage of this and tailor the papers to any colors to match the mood of the scrapbook page or card sentiment. In this example, I used the direct-to-paper technique to color the white areas of the B&T paper. The idea for the card came from Heather Stewart's blog, Scraptastic.

Smooshing Reinkers
As guest designer for the Color My Heart dare this week, I was given outdoor denim, gypsy and sky as my challenge. I had reinkers on my table from last week's For Always workshop, so I decided to keep playing with them and here is one (of the many!) backgrounds I created using my reinkers and a spray bottle of water. I have a little tray that I dropped reinker drops in random places and then sprayed liberally with water. I placed a piece of White Daisy CS over the reinker/water and let it soak up into cool displays of color. Then, I stamped in White Daisy Pigment ink and Outdoor Denim Dye Ink the star image.

For Always Cards
The three card designs created in the base For Always card Workshop on the Go are shown below. In this workshop, we played with purple sparkles and had fun using a different type of neutral colors (Slate and Whisper instead of Bamboo or Cashmere). The clear stamps made it super easy to nest the heart within a heart, overlay pennants and "hang" stars.

From the Bottom of my Heart
This week's Color Dare is a single color, Juniper. Because the background is white, the For Always B&T is easy to alter to match your project. I sponged Juniper Exclusive Ink over the B&T for the bottom panel. Don't forget the zip strips from the B&T! Useful to add the extra *zip* to any project.

For Always sneak peak
I am working on the upcoming For Always card workshop and thought I'd share a sneak peak. I think they look like Ritz crackers (but maybe I'm just hungry!). They are actually gears cut using the Artiste Cricut cartridge from CTMH.
