Scoreboard

The Scoreboard offered by Close To My Heart features 1/8" increments on the board and a diagonal folding arm, allowing you to make perfectly straight score marks as well as accurate 45 degree score marks on your papers for easy folding. It's really easy to give some added interest to your papers. Extend the arm out, and use as a normal score board for making card bases or creating straight embossed lines. Fold in the arm and create angled embossing lines on your cardstock for a different look. You can try creating a dry-embossed argyle design using the angled ruler. Our Scoreboard also features its own folder tool that fits very nicely, and quite snugly, inside the board, so you don't lose it. This special tool is best for a very smooth continuous crease. The prominent ruler at the top of the board takes all of the guesswork out of scoring placement. That's a definite plus when you're scoring card bases. So whether you are scoring a card, dry embossing a page, or adding other beautiful, inventive patterns that you space and create embellishments all your own the Scoreboard is going to be a great tool for any project.

Protect Your Surface

CTMH offers two mats to hep you protect your craft work surfaces: the VersaMat and the All-Purpose Mat. The VersaMat has two sides..a self-healing side for cutting and measuring and a cushion side, on the opposite side, for stamping and piercing. It is great for using as a cushion while stamp, for measuring spacing for exact placement, or for use with our piercing tool. The All-Purpose Mat has a non-sticky, heat resistant side and a sticky side that lays facedown on the table to insure that it does not move while working on messy projects. It is easy to clean with water and cloths. Both mats are lightweight and easy to transport to a workshop or crop.

Cloud Nine Embossing

I had several scraps left over from last month's constant campaign, Cloud Nine.  This month's constant campaign introduces our new Embossing Folders.  

 These fun products are huge for embossing folders, a full 5" X 7" size.  And they have these nifty slits in the top of the folder to help emboss longer strips of paper.  Check out this video to show how to use the folders.

This card is 5" X 5", so it fit right into 5" X 7" folder.  I used the Quatrefoil pattern.  Four little scraps arranged in a pleasing cluster and two small flowers stamped in Lagoon Ink and centered with Sunset brads make this a super quick card.
