A former student in my lab recently had a baby girl and I wanted to put a gift together that matched the baby's nursery. Luckily, the new daddy posted photos for me to work from. The baby's room is decorated in outdoors theme, with mountains, clouds, moose, and wolves. This week's Color My Heart Dare asked us to use several colors that go really well with my idea.
Colors we were dared to use are Pomegranate, Saffron, Poppy, New England Ivy, and Colonial White. I pulled out some papers from the retired Sangria and Fundamentals. I used several CTMH outdoor stamp sets, including "Hook, Line, and Sinker", "Campfire Lifestyle", and "Cute Koalas". I used the Poppy Thick Twine to create a horizon in the distance.
The Sun was created by punching a small circle, and using the leftover cutout to mask the area for the sun, with Pomegranate, Poppy, and Saffron inks.
